WAII is a small independent initiative that publishes analysis. This site collects two things: anonymous traffic measurement, and an email address if you ask for the Readiness Brief. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
We run two measurement tools on this site so we can see which analysis people actually read and where the site is confusing:
_ga._clck and_clsk.Both are configured for measurement only. We do not run advertising, retargeting, or any ad-network pixel, and neither tool is used to build a profile of you.
Choose Decline on the cookie notice at the bottom of the page. That stores a single preference in your browser, stops both tools from loading on every later visit, and clears the analytics cookies already set. The preference lives only in your own browser, so clearing site data will bring the notice back. Browser do-not-track and cookie-blocking settings work here as well.
If you request the Readiness Brief, we store the email address you submit and the date you submitted it. That is the entire record — no name, no organization, no tracking pixel in what we send. We use it to send you the Brief and subsequent editions of our analysis, and for nothing else. The list is never sold, rented, or shared, and the address is stored in Microsoft Azure Table Storage in a United States region.
The Brief itself is delivered as a temporary private download link that expires after 30 minutes.
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Analytics is processed by Google and Microsoft under their own privacy terms. These are the only third parties that see anything from this site.
There is no mailbox on this domain. Message us onLinkedIn to ask a question about this notice or to have your email address removed from the distribution list, and we will delete the record.
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date below moves. We don't keep a separate archive of prior versions.
